Somehow, saying "I'm 30" seems so adult and I hope that I do start to feel that way. It doesn't help that I still look like a teenager and I often get carded for lottery tickets. I've been told my whole life that I should be happy to look young but I think I'll only feel that way when I look old. As of now, I'd love for people to recognize that I'm not a teenager and take me seriously. I'm sure that when that first wrinkle does come, I'll be taking all of this back, but I digress.
I'll be starting my 30's as a newly-wed (or at least I like to think we still are), a recent puppy parent and business owner. My work is cut out for me, but I'm loving every minute of it! So at the close of my second decade, I have to say, that while I may have had some hard times, I'm happy where I'm at and eagerly await what my 30's will bring. I'm hoping lots of exciting changes as my business and family grow. I welcome the big 3-0 with open arms and excitement in my heart.
