Colorful Florals for LGBT Marriage Forum

10.09.2012

Last month, I partnered up with some talented ladies in the wedding industry and put together a marriage forum for LGBT couples at The Center in the West Village. Our very educated panelists brought their knowledge to discuss important info relating to marriage for the LGBT couple including taxes and legal issues for NY state and nationally, fertility and adoption issues, therapy, personal experiences and even divorce. Thank you to all our panelists involved and to prequels.net, commongrounderemonies.com, and falloncarterweddings.com, for putting this great event together!

I made some lovely flowers for the event including the panelist table and a large flower filled urn for the favor table. I selected bright, colorful blooms and used vintage milk glass, blue mason jars, and birch vases. I think they added a happy tone of prettiness including peach dahlias, brown sunflowers, lavender garden roses, green zinnias, peach ranunculus, tanacetum, vibernum berry, astilbe, thisle, and muscari. I really enjoy lots of texture and tend to use a wide variety of flowers and this did not disappoint! Check out the lovlies below. Thanks again to Steven Rosen Photography for snapping these great pics!
