Wedding season has officially started! Our first wedding of the year was a few weeks ago for Cristina and Josh at the charming Alger House. It's a very sweet venue nestled in the West Village with lovely hardwood floors and lush, green plants throughout the space. Cristina had requested to use the space as inspiration for the flowers and do a foliage centerpiece with pops of burgundy. I always love unique ideas, so I was all for this look! I used a variety of greens to create her centerpieces including ivy, passion vine, jasmine, lotus pods, thistle, and pepper grass with burgundy tulips, ranunculus, and scabiosa. For the bouquets, Cristina wanted a burgundy and silver 30's inspired look. To create the bouquets, I used calla lilies, clematis, ranunculus, thistle, brunia, and dusty miller. We also strung spirea, jasmine, and passion vine along the staircase and ceremony with some white flowers to enhance the space. The overall look was gorgeous. Take a look at the beautiful photos by Lana Keshishian Photography and congratulations Cristina and Josh!!
