1920's Shoot at The Green Building

12.05.2013

Every once in a while, I get to work on a styled shoot. It's a lot of work planning and executing, but always a lot of fun to be really creative and work with some very talented people. I approached Private Receptions with an idea for a 1920's inspired shoot at The Green Building but we wanted to make it sophisticated and romantic in colors of peach and lavender. The group of vendors involved were amazing and I was astonished at the creativity and talent everyone brought. For the flowers, I used lavender anemones, juliet roses, lilac, lisianthus, tulips, and pieris in mixes of cut glass, milk glass and brass. I also incorporated ferns and ivy plants for the entryway and escort card shelves along with candles and single flower arrangements.
