Lindsay and Matt at Frankies 457
12.07.2013
The bride chose her vintage 50's dress and put a little modern updates to it, but wanted to use it as inspiration for her flowers. I love creating all types of arrangements and there's something really sweet and romantic about lots of little bottles with delicate blooms scattered all over. The bride collected about 100 vintage bottles and mason jars to fill up Frankies 457 dinning room. I filled them with a wide variety of white and blush flowers including lilac, nigella, majolika roses, ranunculus, scabiosa, tweedia, columbine, peonies, poppy pods, kiera roses, and yes, that's baby's breath! It doesn't always work, but here it adds a nod to the vintage look and some soft delicate touches. Patina tins filled with plants added a pop of something a touch bolder to the tables.
